Richard is a seasoned professional with a diverse range of experience, having been involved in several exploration programs in South Africa and Northern Canada, including nickel, PGE, diamond, coal, coal-bed methane, zinc and gold exploration projects. He has successfully advanced multiple Ni-PGE projects from exploration to development-ready, providing expert geoscience input in development planning to ensure effective data acquisition and management from start to finish.

One of Richard’s most notable accomplishments was his role as Project Manager for the ~50 Moz Lesego Platinum project, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and project management skills. Under his guidance, the project progressed from an inferred resource to a completed bankable feasibility study with proven and probable reserves, all delivered on time and under budget. Mr. Spiro is a former prosecutor and the former coordinator of an autism children’s program at McLean Hospital, Harvard’s psychiatric hospital. Mr. Spiro is a graduate of Harvard Law School where he continues to teach. He has lectured and written on a variety of subjects related to psychology and the law. Mr. Spiro serves as a board member and strategic advisor to a number of public and private companies. Mr. Spiro serves as the Chairman of Glassbridge Enterprises.
