He has successfully advanced multiple Ni-PGE projects from exploration to development-ready, providing expert geoscience input in development planning to ensure effective data acquisition and management from start to finish.

One of Richard’s most notable accomplishments was his role as Project Manager for the ~50 Moz Lesego Platinum project, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and project management skills. Under his guidance, the project progressed from an inferred resource to a completed bankable feasibility study with proven and probable reserves, all delivered on time and under budget. Richard oversaw all aspects of the program, from exploration design to various licensing applications, and his expertise and attention to detail played a critical role in the project’s success.

He currently is the Vice President of Corporate Development for Freeman Gold Corp and on the Board of Bonavista Resources Corp.
